It started in World of Warcraft with a guild called Hand of Discord. A community built around the idea that the best experiences in this game come from the people you share them with, not just the content itself. We raided, wiped on bosses we had no business attempting, and built something worth caring about.
When WoW took a back seat for a while, the community didn't die. It migrated. We landed in Ashes of Creation and started fresh under a new name: Chaos and Lace. Two founders, two personalities, one community. The chaos of Jamie's approach to the game balanced against the precision and patience that Anie brings to everything she touches.
The name became Kaos and Lace when Anie pointed out something that felt immediately right: it fits as knuckle tattoos. Four letters each. That's when we knew it wasn't just a guild name anymore.
When World of Warcraft called us back for Midnight, there was never a question about what we'd be building. Kaos and Lace came home.
Jamie has been deep in Azeroth longer than most people want to admit. Known across the WoW community under the handle JamieKaos, he's a Protection Warrior main, guild leader, addon developer, and content creator with strong opinions about game design at any hour of the day.
On the addon side, Jamie publishes under JamieKaos on CurseForge, building tools like VaultPing, ChatPing, and HearthSkinner that fill gaps the base UI never bothered to address. The philosophy: reduce friction, don't be intrusive, make the game feel better without getting in the way.
Outside of WoW he produces guides, hosts the Kaos and Lace podcast, and streams regularly on Twitch.
Anie is the precision to Jamie's chaos. A veteran WoW player with a completionist streak and the patience to actually follow through on it. She's the type of player who hits 100% completion not because the game asks her to, but because leaving things unfinished isn't in her vocabulary.
She's the co-founder who keeps Kaos and Lace from becoming just kaos. The community, the culture, the feel of the guild. A lot of that is Anie's fingerprints. She named it. She refined it. She made it worth showing up for.
Find her streaming on Twitch as Anie_Lace, whether she's pushing progression, doing content, or just vibing in Azeroth.
Kaos and Lace is a WoW community for players who take the game seriously without taking themselves too seriously. We're adults with jobs and limited time, which means we care about playing efficiently and actually having fun doing it.
Not a hardcore guild chasing world firsts, and not a casual group where nobody knows each other's names. We sit in the space between, invested enough to push progression and grounded enough to remember it's a game.
The Discord is where it all lives. Guides, addon updates, group finder, and general WoW talk with people who actually care about the game.
In Midnight Season 1 we're building the raid roster, pushing Mythic Plus, and laying the foundation for a guild that runs content at a high level without burning people out.
The goal isn't to be the best guild on the server. The goal is to be the best guild for the people in it. Clear heroic, push into mythic when the team is ready, and do it with a group of people who actually want to log in together.
On the content side, guides, addon updates, and podcast episodes will keep coming as long as there's WoW to talk about.
Looking for a raid team, a Mythic Plus group, or just a community of people who give a damn about WoW. The door's open.
